LGBTQ+ Enamel Pendant Design
This LGBTQ+ enamel pendant combines the familiar rainbow colours with the additional chevron of the Progress Pride Flag. The polished enamel surface gives the colours a clean finish while keeping the complete pendant compact at approximately 35mm wide.
The Progress Pride Flag pendant can be worn as symbolic Pride jewellery or combined with other colourful and meaningful accessories.
Progress Pride Flag Meaning
The Progress Pride Flag was developed by designer Daniel Quasar in 2018. It builds on the six-colour rainbow Pride flag by adding a chevron containing light blue, pink and white stripes associated with the transgender Pride flag, together with black and brown stripes representing marginalised LGBTQ+ communities of colour.
The chevron points towards the centre of the flag. Quasar described its placement as representing progress still to be made, while retaining the rainbow as an established symbol of the wider LGBTQ+ community.
