Obsidian Gemstone Sculpture
The maker creates this obsidian gemstone sculpture from one solid piece of natural volcanic glass. Therefore, it does not contain separate joined stone sections. The smooth polish also highlights the dark colour and natural features of the obsidian.
Each carving has its own natural appearance. As a result, shade, markings and small surface details can vary from one piece to another. These natural differences make each hand-carved piece individual.
Natural Obsidian Volcanic Glass
Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass that forms when suitable volcanic material cools quickly. Therefore, natural pieces can show differences in colour, pattern and internal features.
In addition, lighting and reflections can change how polished black obsidian looks in photographs. Screen settings can also affect its appearance. For this reason, please check all photographs carefully before purchasing.
Phallic Symbolism & History
Phallic forms appear in art and symbolic objects from many cultures and historical periods. In particular, some traditions have linked these forms with fertility, creation, life and renewal. However, their meanings differ between cultures and periods, so no single meaning applies to every example.
Today, people may choose a phallic carving as symbolic art, an unusual gemstone collectable or a display piece. Therefore, any personal spiritual meaning depends on the beliefs and interpretation of the owner.
Size & Measurements
The obsidian phallus measures approximately 7 inches or 17.78cm long. Meanwhile, its circumference measures approximately 4 inches or 10.16cm.
Close-up photographs can make the carving look larger or smaller than it is. Therefore, please compare the stated measurements with a ruler before purchasing.
Red Velvet Bag & Discreet Packaging
The carving comes with a plush red velvet storage bag. In addition, we pack the order securely inside discreet outer packaging for privacy during delivery.
The velvet bag helps protect the polished surface during storage. However, obsidian is natural volcanic glass and can chip or break if dropped or struck against a hard surface. Therefore, always handle the carving carefully.
Care Instructions
- Handle the obsidian carefully to help prevent chips or breaks.
- Also avoid dropping it or knocking it against hard surfaces.
- Wipe the polished surface gently with a soft cloth when needed.
- However, avoid harsh chemicals and rough cleaning products.
- After cleaning, dry the carving fully before storage.
- Finally, keep it inside the velvet bag in a clean, dry place.
Important Information
We sell this item as a carved gemstone sculpture for display, collection or personal symbolic use. Therefore, we make no medical, healing or health claims for obsidian or the carving.
Finally, natural obsidian varies from piece to piece. Each carving may show small differences in colour, markings and finish because of the natural material and hand-carved process.
